never ending hollywood ending

a reconstruction of the final moments of the series finale of The Hills that aired on MTV, July 13, 2010. in this edited sequence, the final scene of the series is divided into two parallel views. on the left, the fictional status of the show is maintained and never revealed, and on the right, the camera settles on one of the show's main characters where a Hollywood hills backdrop is eventually pulled away to expose a film set behind it, and in effect, the show's irreality.

But this is where the video deviates from the actual episode, in that the backdrop is never fully removed, instead it's put back, keeping the fictional status of The Hills intact.

The sequence is designed to endlessly loop without sound, creating a never ending ending.
